What high paying job i can get?

I'm 11 years old and I am thinking of going to college for at least 2 years and getting of getting a high paying job, the problem is what high paying job that requires at least 2 years of college (or more). Thanks! #college

Hi Richard!


When thinking about a career, the most important thing to do is find one that you will look forward to going to each day. One that will not only provide a good amount of income, but also one in which you will enjoy using your time, skills, and abilities.


In order to do that, you need to get to know yourself and careers better.
- talk to your school counselor about taking interest and aptitude tests to determine appropriate career areas
- talk to the teachers of the courses in which you are getting the best grades to see in which career areas they see you fitting and arrange to talk to people working in those areas
- send thank you notes to those who help you.

Richard, while our goal is alway to make a great living for ourselves, I would simply tell you what someone told me.

Find a passion and make it a living.

When you do that the money will come. There is nothing worse than being in a job or profession that you hate no matter what the salary is.
