Angela’s Answer

Hi Catherine,

When studying for AP or final exams I would practice by creating my own testing environment. I would print out previous exams, have the supplementary materials I would have when taking the exam (like a calculator or reference table) and start the clock. The best way for me to learn was by testing myself and then go over the exam to understand what concepts I needed to review more.

Best of Luck!

Pay attention in class throughout the year. Then begin studying for an hour or two a day for a month before the test.

Hi Catherine,

When studying for AP exams/finals, I always found success with study groups. I would recommend beginning with creating a comprehensive study guide, and then working with a partner/peer to quiz each other on the material. You may also find that their interpretation of the material may be different than yours, and additional perspectives can be valuable during these types of tests. Happy studying!
