I am looking to start a bussiness what is the best thing to do first?

Hi Grace! So great to see such an ambitious 12 year old! There are more than 28 million small businesses in the United states making up a whopping 99.7 percent of all U. S. Businesses. The first thing you will need to do is a bit of research. Most likely you have already identified a business idea, so now its time to balance it with a little reality. In order to determine if your business idea will succeed you need to think about a few validation questions: Is there a need your your services/products? Who needs it? Are there competitors offering similar products/services? Who are your competitors? How will you market your business? Once you answer these questions you are ready to create a plan. Your business plan is the blueprint that will guide your business from start-up to growth. Keep in mind success doesn't happen over night.
