What is it like working as a Radiologist?
Im trying to figure out what kind of medical field I'd like to go into. I would like to know what all being a Radiologist entails. #scientist #technology #doctor #medicine

Radiologists are medical doctors that specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging (radiology) procedures (exams/tests) such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET) and ultrasound. -Wikipedia
Becoming a radiologist requires four years of undergraduate school, four years of medical school and at least four years in a radiology residency program.

If you like working alone in the dark and have minimal patient interaction it’s for you. I left Radiology for Radiation Oncology because I like dealing with patients and other people.

Working as a Radiologist requires a highly skilled individual. They perform non-invasive and invasive diagnostic studies this data can require Doctor follow up for further medical procedures.
