Brainstorm what qualities may get you a scholarship, focusing on specific/niche attributes so that the candidate pool for the scholarships is small. Local or regional scholarships have less applications than national ones, so those are the scholarships to spend your time on! Try searching for local/regional scholarships from cultural/religious groups, your parents’ or your employers, local businesses, the local government, etc.
