Hi, Chadd. I presume you are seeking to be a physician? Health Admin. would probably not be your best option. Most people who are pre-med would get their BS in biology or similar physical science such as chemistry. Most colleges have pre-med tracks that you can follow in order to ensure that you have the ideal education background to pursue your ultimate goal. Here are some examples from some schools near me:

Mt Hood Community College: https://www.mhcc.edu/Academics-and-Training/Degrees-and-Transfer-Guides/Transfer-Guides-by-Subject/Pre-Professional-(Medicine,-Chiropractic,-Dentistry,-Pharmacy,-Veterinary-Medicine)/Pre-Professional-(Medicine,-Chiropractic,-Dentistry,-Pharmacy,-Veterinary-Medicine).aspx

Portland State University: https://www.pdx.edu/clas/pre-professional-programs

Sorry there isn't a hyperlink feature (at least that I can find), but I am sure you know how to copy-and-paste =D

Hope you find this helpful!

Health administration is a fabulous major if you would like to go to medical school! As long as you still take your medical school pre-requisites, a health administration major will be very helpful to you as you apply to medical schools. It will help them see that you not only understand the specific science necessary to be a doctor, but also understand the healthcare system in the US today and all of the things that make our system work.
