Hey Vanessa! First off, I hope you're current academic experience has been fun (albeit I'm sure it's been tough at times.) After consulting a few colleagues that have majored in Psychology or are currently pursuing this field, I have a general outline in terms of a curriculum for you (see sample courses below):


A. Introduction to Psychology

B. Statistical Methods in Psychology

C. Research Methods in Psychology


Each school will be slightly different, so the curriculum will depend on the institution. However, I've narrowed down the areas of concentration for your freshman year. I hope this helps you get started in choosing a field of study and I welcome other professionals to jump in and give you further insight!
