Does it affect my chances of getting accepted if I apply later fall?

I am waiting for my SAT score and to take the ACT so it will be around October before I can get my scores together. Is it gonna affect my chances? #collegeapplications #college

It really depends on the institution.  But keep in mind that there are only so many students per class.  Late acceptance also means late registration.  You options for what classes are available for you to enroll in could be affected.  Just ensure that you apply as soon as all your information is available.

It depends on the school, but I highly doubt it. A lot of people are applying in the October period, if not January or later. I think I did the majority of my applications for the Nov. 1 deadline and a few for the Jan. 1 deadline, and I was fine.


I know college applications are stressful, but I promise you it will work out! I just graduated from college, and I look back at the application process and I don't understand why I stressed out as much as I did. You are talented and brilliant, and you'll get into the college you're meant to be at.
