My advice would be to do your best to learn the language of the country first. This will be your biggest immediate roadblock. I would also do some research on the country and see what the culture is all about. When going to a different country, you will feel very far from home. I would see what is the time difference between where you would be going to school and home. While it seems its great to be far from home there will really come a time when all you want to do is talk with family. Make sure before making that decision that it really is the right choice for you.

Javier’s Answer

Enjoy the experience, learn the language and the culture of the country. In the case that you could feel bad because you miss your family and friends, try to create a new positive environment around you (do some activities you like, go to the gym, do yoga, and make friends).

Good luck!
