There is a show on ID/Discovery called: “Coroner, I Speak for the Dead” That will give you a real good idea of what he does. Other than autopsies and working with the police, they also take the witness stand, in the courtroom. Their job is sort of surgical in nature. There used to be a show called “Dr. G. Medical Examiner” If you could find some of those somewhere, she is awesome!
