Good question. Getting through school will be one of the greatest challenges. There is a lot of learning required! Anything you can do to accelerate that will be very valuable for you financially, and will increase your chances of completing the effort. Once you start, you should try to complete it, because if you leave medical school at the half-way point, you will have half of the debt, but you wont' get any of the income boost. School is also expensive, so you need to be on top of your scholarship and grant applications if you need the financial aid. Make sure that you have a good understanding of what being a doctor is like so you can decide whether you have the passion necessary to make it through the education. We can give you advice on CareerVillage, but you should also try to get into an OB/GYN office, and other medical offices, as an intern, apprentice, or observer to make sure that you understand what you're getting into.
