Ta’s Answer

Hi, Phillip!

many doctoral programs do not require students to major in Biology, for example, and many colleges offer something called Pre Med Prep programs, entrance to Med School option for students who did not complete science based majors as an undergrad. Typically only approx 10 courses required for medical programs it can vary slightly based on graduate school option. If you are enrolled as an undergrad now you should schedule an appointment with your academic advisor as soon as possible to discuss your interests. You can complete a biology related minor with a major if you do not want to complete an intensive undergraduate science major as well. You have options. So many you should have discussions with your advisor. Best wishes to you!
