What is the most challenging part about transitioning from one degree to another?

I am transitioning from a Professional Pilot degree program into Aerospace Logistics. The transition is huge, as I am also moving to complete this degree. I am looking for some positive feedback about transitioning into a new degree. #AerospaceLogistics #Aviation

The most challenging part is determining what coursework is transferable and determining what else needs completion. Another thing that you will likely find challenging is changing what you think about. If you begin by studying psychology and then decide you want to teach, the topics that you focus on, though both relate to the mind, are vastly different. This will require a shift, but I do not believe it will be difficult. I have found that simply ending one course and beginning another requires a shift. By the time I am half way through the course, the change is no longer apparent as I have become absorbed and focused on the topic at hand.

Diane recommends the following next steps:

Pat yourself on the back for taking the bold step of changing course of study to one that is better fitting.

The most challenging part about changing majors mid-stream is the loss of time and wasted tuition spent taking classes that don't count towards your new degree plan. I know someone that changed their major 5 times and it took them 7 years to get their 4 year Bachelor's degree because of it.
