Jeanette’s Answer

I do not work in this field but I was curious and did a brief internet search. It looks like there are places that have internships for undergraduates in the field of Aerospace logistics.  Here are sites of interest that I located :

https://www.iata.org/hc/Pages/internships.aspx

https://www.indeed.com/q-Aviation-Intern-jobs.html

https://www.icao.int/safety/ngap/Pages/Internship-Opportunities.aspx

The Indeed website even lets you sign up to get email alerts about internships in the field of Aerospace Logistics.   I recommend that you look at these sites and do a further search such as "internships for undergraduates in aerospace logistics and read about the opportunities.

Thank you comment icon I will look into these, thank you for your great answer! Twain

Victor’s Answer

YES!

After completing my 2nd year of college I was accepted to a NASA internship. During my phone interview I told the engineer (mentor to this date) I had not taken any real engineering class. He responded with I know.

Companies, understand that you are still learning. What they want to know is that you are eager to learn, try out new things and hopefully along the way they will let you fail. Yes fail, because it will allow you to grow.

Look for internships that just ask you to be a college student. You will find those looking for specific requirement, but hey what do you honestly loose from applying and not getting it. All they have done for you is given you the opportunity to improve your internship application, resume, and interview skills.

Victor recommends the following next steps:

Apply to an internship.
