Pam’s Answer

You should plan on earning at least a certificate in one of the interior design specialties like Advanced Residential, Kitchen & Bath or Technology. The certificate programs can be earned at a community college and typically consist of 15 - 35 credit hrs. You could take courses on either a full or part time basis.

Andrew’s Answer

Finding somewhere to intern in the field while you get your degree is an important step. You need to log as much real world experience while you get your education.
Thank you comment icon Hi Andrew, are you saying that the best way for the student to incorporate interior design is to do an internship in it while also pursing their business degree? Just wanted to clarify. Gurpreet Lally, Admin
