Justin’s Answer

I would have to answer your question with a question first. Is this something you are passionate about and deeply interested in? Like most things that are worth having it will require hard work and a deep knowledge base of that specialty and that will come with time and experience. I would recommend having a good knowledge of anatomy, and the technology used in that profession and once you have done the pre-work ask yourself if this is what you want to do.

Justin recommends the following next steps:

do some research in the field, and explore intern programs to get some experience.

LaRita’s Answer

You're going to start with 12 years of school and residency at least. Then you will need to complete fellowships etc. Once done with the premed track actual medical school can be very hard to get into. All of what you want depends on how driven you are to go out and obtain it.
