If you work for a non-for-profit or government hospital you can have your federal student loans forgiven in full once you have made 120 of the minimum payments. All this means is you would need to be making the minimum payments on your loans for 10 years, and after that your loans will be forgiven. A lot of hospitals qualify as either government or non-for-profit which would qualify you for loan forgiveness under this program.
