E. C’s Answer

Dear Sabina V,

The most rewarding thing in being a Correctional Officer is being able to learn from other's errors, learning about their genesis into this world, watching them grow as better humans and offering advice when the opportunity presents itself. I wish you the best on your journey.

James’s Answer

The most rewarding thing about being a corrections officer is being able to take pride in working in a challenging environment. Corrections is not for the faint of heart. It is incredibly demanding. It can take its tole on you to constantly be among the outcasts of society. You are there for a reason. You are making sure that they serve their sentence, and receive whatever treatment or program they need if they are to return to society. Believe you are necessary.
