Hey Ethan,
One of the biggest struggles is that it takes time to get a good job.
If you were to apply to be a cashier at a store you could just walk in and apply, but if you want to be a professional you have to go to a school and learn the trade, and then you have to get the job and really learn how to do it in real life.
Even when you get the job you went to school for there is still so much to learn. Some people will be very experienced and when you start you may feel overwhelmed. You may feel like you're not good enough, but you are. It just take many, many years to be really, really good at something.
Another challenge is that when you are in school and when you start the job you will always be questioning if it is the right job. Some days, when the school work is really hard you'll want to switch majors, and even when you get a job you may still wonder if you made the right decision.
But, any path you pursue will be hard so it's good to remember that any career path can give you pride and make you happy if you work hard and do your best to help people.
Another thing is that when you start your first professional job you will have to do a lot of work. You have to do the job and you have to always learn how things work. For example, when you're sending an e-mail to a manager you will have to write it in a very organized and professional way, you cannot talk to your manager like you would talk to a best friend. This means that it could take you an hour to write an e-mail, and then you'll still have all the work you have to do. And, because you're new to the job, you will have to ask a lot of questions, where as someone with experience can just do the job without having to spend time asking questions and figuring things out.
