Raashid’s Answer

An aspiring RN can earn a bachelor's of science in nursing (BSN) in four years at a college or university. If you're already an RN, you can enroll in an RN-to-BSN program which is geared specifically for RNs who have an associate's degree or nursing diploma. This path usually takes about two to three years.

An associate's degree or professional nursing diploma is already the quickest way to become a registered nurse, but you may be able to get your degree even quicker. Typically, these programs take a minimum of two to three years of study, according to the BLS.

Ronald’s Answer

Hello Tania,

Typically you can complete RN (Registered Nurse) training in about 3 years. One year of that is accomplishing Pre-Nursing course (prerequisites if required) in a Community College, then two years in a Nursing Program. There is also another track wherein you get a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), that will be 4 years at a university.

Ronald recommends the following next steps:

Check your local Community college and university.
Set an informational interview with a Nursing College Advisor will be very helpful to answer all your questions.
