I first suggest in determining what is your background in for schooling and what interests you. There are then different roles within that scope that have different competitiveness and pay scales. You may have to take an entry level role first to get your foot in the door, but once in, you can certainly prove yourself and look at advancements within the company.

Cara recommends the following next steps:

Determine what your interests are and what you hope to achieve within the career path you choose
Look into different companies in the location you want to work in and be open to moving if necessary

I would suggest that you think about the below two questions.
1. Where your passion lies in first of all. Which area would you be passionate about. For example, high-technology law, finance, medical or art ? (In almost all the areas, there could be top & competitive careers as long as you know where your passion is).
2. What you want to achieve in the areas you are passionate for and what is your long-team career goal?

Based on your answers for above two questions, look for possible internship/jobs and learn as quickly as you can:)
