getting my foot in the door Web dev/android dev

I am a computing and informatics major at Rowan University. Going int my senior year I am starting to feel the pressure to find an internship but it seems like all the employers around me want CS majors. Any advice on how I should go about finding an internship/where I should look. at this point I am willing to work for free if that is what it takes to get my foot in the door. I am not sure if anyone knows of a non profit that needs I developer but I would do that.

That's awesome that you are interested in web development and app development!

The first place to look would be your school's career office. I looked for the information for you. Here is a link: https://sites.rowan.edu/oca/index.html

Let me know if this helps you. Many times, your first internship will be a volunteer experience, but then you will be able to obtain a paid internship once you have a project portfolio put together. GitHub is a great way to display your skills for potential employers. You can upload school projects or complete free course projects here (https://www.coursera.org/) at Coursera and the post them to your own GitHub account here: https://github.com/
