Hi Maria!
Becoming a doctor requires these basic steps:
1. Graduate high school.
2. Graduate from university with at least a bachelor's degree.
3. Graduate from medical school (either DO, MD, NMD, podiatrist, etc, depending on what medical philosophy you are drawn to)
For medical school though, I highly suggest these courses (in addition to any prerequisites you may need):
Anatomy and Physiology (all of them, as many as you can)
Genetics
Microbiology
Molecular and Cellular biology
Pathophysiology (if offered)
Medical Ethics
Medical Terminology
Psychology / Sociology / Anthropology (people are not just their illnesses and injuries)
Statistics
Good luck!!
