Hello,
My room is organized before I leave work, so in the mornings, I take out any handouts that I have for that day, etc. I turn on the computers and check all technology. Also, I make sure tissue, paper, and pencils are available for students. I try to have all materials ready for them as sometimes students come without the supplies needed to complete tasks. Once all that is done, I check my emails, mailbox, and take a quick RR break.

A good healthy breakfast and lots of coffee
Teachers are expected to arrive at school at least an hour before school begins, and many stay an average of three to five hours beyond the traditional school day for meetings, grading, and other administrative tasks.
Long hours but very rewarding career
Best of Luck

As a volunteer teacher, when I walk into the classroom the first thing I do is say "Good Morning friends" to all who are there. I then take a few minutes to individually say hi and ask something about their day -- do they think it will be a good day, etc.
Daily job lives will vary depending on what you teach, perhaps the age level, location and mission of the school. Suggest you ask your friends about the best teachers they had and what they did to make them so good. Also see if you can meet some teachers individually for coffee to learn more about their daily jobs.
I believe it's a career where you will have an impact on future generations.
With every good wish!

I work in the accounting world so my hours tend to be long however I focus every day on making healthy decisions so that my mental health, even with long hours, does not diminish. I start my day at the gym - now this is hard most mornings, especially when you work until 10 or 11 the night before, however it is so good for your mental and physical health if you exert energy or frustrations.
I then start my day by clearing emails and continuing my day by talking to clients and my team members about the tasks they need to complete for the day. The key to a successful career is being a leader and being a good leader means making sure the people you lead understand their responsibilities. Once the team is set up for success I start my work. This consists of many different things that include talking to clients, preparing work papers and coaching.
After work I go home, have a cup of tea and unwind by watching my favorite show. In any career you must find something that allows you to forget and disconnect from your job. It allows you to start fresh every morning.
Every day is different and brings its own challenges but when looking for a career I urge you to find something you are passionate about - it makes every day easier and more exciting.
