Katherine’s Answer

I have several former university colleagues that knew they wanted to become a CRNA when they found that their passion was in intensive or critical care services and when they also knew that they wanted to become an advanced practice provider. Most of them also enjoyed their chemistry/organic chemistry and physics courses as well. It is a very well paying field that also comes with high expectations and many opportunities for advancement, flexible scheduling, and pay at the higher end of the NP bracket.

Estelle’s Answer

One of my very good friends has recently decided to become a nurse anesthetist. He is in his late 20s and has investigated multiple career path including business and research. It is a great field with good pay and fair hours. He is very excited about it, and I think that it is a field that you can get into at just about any age.
