Thank you comment icon ZipRecruiter would be a great website you can access to. They share a lot of relevant information so that you know exactly how much money different professions make. It varies depending on experience, and perhaps how much education and by state, but here below I give you the link you can access to know more about it. https://www.ziprecruiter.com/Salaries/Entry-Level-Auto-Body-Technician-Salary?__cf_chl_captcha_tk__=pmd_xIb1a1Ago_AKnL8Zq4mRWKJKFta3EkfWXq3i6TkAlXk-1635452384-0-gqNtZGzNA2WjcnBszQil Oscar Trejo

A short search via salary.com resulted that "The average Automotive Mechanic I salary in Tucson, AZ is $35,812 as of January 16, 2019, but the range typically falls between $31,451 and $41,284. Salary ranges can vary widely depending on many important factors, including education, certifications, additional skills, the number of years you have spent in your profession." Since your question is about entry-level auto technician salary, I would guess is towards the low end of $30K a year.

Most garages and non factory retail facility like Jiffy lubes pay less than the dealership. Dealer pay a little bit more. It also depend on the locations, if you are in the rural area or in the big cities that have a lot to say how much you will make as an entry level automotive technician, in the dealers that labor rate at $200 an hour, you might earn 36k to 40k, and if you earn your way to be a line technician, you can work very hard to make about 50k plus. It is all depend on where and what you do.
