I work as a network consultant and i love it.
Things that are really interesting are working on different projects, thinking about how you setup the network from different companies, what are their requirements, how you are fulfilling them. Different challenges you face during the setup. troubleshooting interesting scenarios. Network world is really different from how it is in books to how it is implemented. Things get different when it comes to production from text book knowledge.
Thats what differs from other technologies i guess.

I work as Network Test and Certification engineer, my job differs from others in the following aspect:
- I get to work on various network devices like switches, routers and security appliances.
- I also get to work on automation framework using programming languages.
- I get to work with various optics.

Computer Networking is a vast field and it starts from networking the PC's inside a company to networking a multi-site enterprise company. Every person working from ground level to higher level have their own role to build a solid network. I work as Telecom Network engineer and my daily job is to help other people who are stuck with issues on their network and resolve it. If you are planning to enter the networking field you have different options from Designing, Planning, Implementing and Supporting level. choose anyone according to your interest.

I work as Network Consulting Engineer on Collaboration platform, This technology and role is quite interesting on below aspects,
I mostly work on operations -trouble fixing scenarios on real time networking world on telephony, video conferencing . Which gives you thrilled effect always and good exposure on real work how conveniently the communication happens.
This collaboration networking again expands on Artificial Intelligence , Cognitive collaboration which makes the daily work much more intertesting.

Computer Networking is vast field and includes various technologies like Routing and Switching, Wireless, Security, Collaboration etc. I work in Routing and Switching domain. My job role involves providing consultancy to different customers like banks or service providers. I work on designing and implementation for new network set up or migrations of existing network. On daily basis, I work with routers and switches, configuring them, designing a network etc. We also use lot of scripting to automate repetitive tasks.

It involves lot of challenges. Customer handling is the main key.
