Kinesiology is a great major! You can pursue any career with this degree. The best career is the one that brings you the most personal fulfillment!

Some popular career fields for kinesiology majors include health education, health promotion, public health analysis, and personal training.

Personal trainer jobs, athletic trainer jobs, and physical rehabilitation jobs are also promising jobs that offer flexibility in hours and location.

Here are some of the careers that will likely require graduate education beyond that undergraduate degree in kinesiology:

Fitness Careers

  • Fitness and Exercise Instructor
  • Corporate Fitness and Wellness Instructor
  • Personal Trainer
  • Special Population - Wellness Instructor
  • Choreography & Music Services
  • Disabled
  • Geriatric Opportunities

Brandon’s Answer

Another field that you can consider with a Kinesiology degree is one in Medical devices. There are plenty of jobs within the realm of Medical devices that do not require a degree in biomedical engineering. Kinesiology does a really good job of teaching you about the body and how it works it can truly take you to any job you find interesting. The biggest thing I think your degree does is gets you in the door, but what you decide to do after that is entirely up to the path you want to go down! Make connections and do as much job shadowing as you can.
