Sonya’s Answer

Community service would be an add on to your resume but it is not mandatory your academic scores would mater and how you prepare to clear the interview. Community service would give you a perspective not only for your career but life in general and as they say the good you do will always find you . All the best for your future!

Jasmine’s Answer

Community service is usually an addition to your application/resume but it is good for personal growth and experience in the field. People like doing community service to see the general setting of a healthcare professional and some hands-on experience if they allow volunteers to engage in the activity. Community service is also beneficial if you want to see other jobs in the medical field. Although it is beneficial to volunteer, it is better to focus on academics because employers are looking for academically advanced nurses.
