Through the present-day tech, how can its benefits produce over time to everyday lifestyle and still keep its usage viable?
Computers for example we know how its usage can still be viable to everyday life though there will be a time where its usefulness will come to an end. Not everyone uses this technology so that creates a divide and also create a advantage/disadvantage for both the users and non-users.

we are in an era where change is the only constant thing. Technology changes so rapidly as you have already observed. Yes, you are right that it does create a divide between those who have not caught up to the technology and those who have out lived it. But if you look closely at this smart phone era, it has changed things for better. For example, in the US the smart phone came after computers. But in India, the smartphone zoomed past computers and in to people's hand because it was low cost and effective at bridging the digital divide.
Many people in India have access to internet for the very first time because they have a smart phone and had not personally owned a computer. Even basic phones proved revolutionary. Business' in India made use of missed call concept to get with customers. This is just the tip of the ice berg. Read here for more on this and yes, google about "Digital Divide" to learn more.

I know this is a difficult thing to juggle in our day to day life. I as a mother struggle when my kids are using technology way more than they need. I think, not just with technology but anything, finding balance is very important.
I think technology is a big help if you know how to use it smartly and effectively. It helps me make a little more time in my day to do other things for example I can add reminders on my phone, I can look up flights while I am traveling in the train and don't have to wait to get home and be in front of my computer.
Technology definitely make me smarter, connect to people that I wouldn't have been able to connect otherwise and gave me more avenues to learn. Of course I prioritize my other activities and use the technology wisely so I still get time for my kids, do physical activities like hiking , Yoga, gym etc. This way I am using it for my benefit and not become an addict of it.
I hope this helps.
