What are the most important issues facing future generations, and how can technology tackle them?
Massive issues such as climate change, running out of resources, and healthcare limitations face my generation. I am wondering which, if any, should be prioritised by governments in which to fund a solution? How can we, as young people, help to solve any of this? Thank you! #tech

I would say a few of the most important issues facing future generations are student debt, homelessness, and climate change. Technology can help with student debt via apps such as SoFi (https://www.sofi.com) that allow people to refinance their debt and develop plans to best assist students in payments. As far as homelessness, hot mapping allows people from their respective computers to map remote areas that are difficult to see on Google Maps, etc. Once people are able to identify such locations, we can provide aid to these individuals much faster. Also - technology allows people to crowd source funds for such causes! Last (but certainly not least), technology is helping the world create alternative sources of energy to reduce the rapid rate of climate change (https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapier/2018/10/16/how-a-technology-from-iceland-is-fighting-climate-change/31418ffa24bd).

If everyone in the world has at least an opportunity to receive education, they will gain holistic view and understanding and they can also be part of the solution. I think Coursera is doing a great job by providing online education but also note that a lot of people in developing countries are not able to afford internet connection. If young generations could think on how to bridge the gaps and to provide education to the most rural areas that'd be a great start.
