Most students majoring in criminal justice find careers in: probation and parole, the prison system, the judicial/court system, and even in social work/case management positions.

With a BS in Criminal Justice, I became a Federal Special Agent for 20 years. There are many jobs available--Federal, State, and Local--if you look. Go to USAjobs.gov, search series number "1811" and look at the requirements for Federal positions. Keep in mind that a new recruit starts at the GS-7 level.
