It is better to be BOTH people savvy and tech savvy. With tech becoming more and more people oriented, you need the soft skills. I.E people savvy, to relate to the people behind the tech issues and advancements that will arise. it is best to be well rounded with skills from BOTH positions
Josue’s Answer
Both! Follow your passion in the tech field and learn all that you can but don't let that be your only skill. Being a people person will open more doors for you. Your future can have you lead a team and you will need your soft skills to listen, teach, lead and inspire others.
Gulab’s Answer
You need both. Tech savvy if you want to have a career in technology. It is everywhere so have to use and learn different technologies. You have to work with people in most of the jobs/careers so have to learn to get along. If you want to be a manager then people savvy is needed to manage, deal with and help people
