I took a Medical Ethics class, which was a philosophy class. Nutrition was also a class that I took that was beneficial.

Erika’s Answer

Now I am not a nurse so I cannot offer any class that would help a nursing career. When I chose my electives, I tried to take different classes outside of my career path to almost give a slight change up to my routine. I took a history class during college and one of the things we had to debate different aspects (whether we agreed or disagreed with the side we were given). For me I kept seeming to end up on a side that I personally disagreed with but still had to debate it as if it wasn't the case. It really helped me to not be so closed minded and just pick a side. Now a history class had nothing to do with my accounting major but I still learned something that I can apply to everyday life.

I also used another elective on an art class and I was able to just relax and enjoy myself in that one. It helped give myself a break during the hustle and bustle college brings.
