The hardest clinical rotation was the first Medical Surgical rotation. You are putting together all of the didactic you learned in class and trying to correlate it to the patients clinical picture. Plus finally doing hands on skills like SQ injections and IV meds.
Always remember to make everything individualized. Every patient is not the same. And the indications for medications must be right for the patient.
As well as balancing classes and staying healthy ... and other personal commitments. Stay focused. It goes by fast. And there is life after nursing school.

The hardest part of clinical rounds is balancing your school work and actual externship. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE PRIORITIZING AND ORGANIZING YOUR WORKLOAD. This opportunity will help you determine what you love and what experiences you want to be around. The last month will be the hardest.
