Contact the university to schedule a tour. Talk to them about your interest in the Veterinary Medicine Program and ask them if during the tour will you be able to interact with some of the current students. If so ask your questions then.

Another way will be to contact the Director of the department and ask if you can send your questions via email for some of the current students to answer(it's worth a try).
