Thomas’s Answer

I dislike repetitive, mindless tasks.  In previous jobs, especially in the first weeks, repetitive tasks were part of the initial training - how well did I absorb new information, could I perform these jobs with few errors and could I recognize when I made a mistake.  Beware of jobs where there is little more than repetitive tasks - you will be uninspired, and the work is likely to be automated.

Sallie’s Answer

For me personally, I find that the field i chose tends to force out my ability to maintain a good work life balance as my job revolves heavily around my client and their deadlines/needs. As a single mom this is challenging as it often puts me in situations where I have to bring work with me to do things like doctors appointments or even just afternoon carpool. My kids notice and I wonder if im really getting enough time with them . Finding something that allows you to maintain that balance is important.
