Yes, especially if you specialize in certain brands like: European, American, Japanese or others. When you have an A. D. you open a lot of opportunities for your future.

Thank you comment icon Hi Kyle. I'd say yes as well. But since no one likes to spend any more money than they need to for advanced education i might suggest you check out training programs the major automotive manufacturers sponsor. I know of ones that train folks to be mechanics and they are promised a job upon graduation. That's for mechanics. They may possibly have a program for the tech area you are interested in. If the don't have a training program they will likely have a scholarship program you can apply to. Check with community colleges offering these types of programs and ask them if there are scholarships. I'd bet they may, automotive technology is exploding right now. Yes, The automobile of the future will have much more technology for driverless vehicles. t is an entirely new field, and keeping that vehicle technology updated for safe driving is going to be a key new job and career within the next 5 years
