Sophia’s Answer

It depends on the person. If the admission requirements and price are low, then that's an advantage. If the costs and admission requirements are high, it's a disadvantage. If you can't find your desired degree, it's a disadvantage. I believe DePaul University is a good university in my opinion, with many activities and it seems like a good facility.

Julie’s Answer

I went to DePaul and completed the majority of my classes at the downtown campus. I would suggest to thing of what potential jobs interest you when you graduate. For business the majority of the teachers worked at major corporation in downtown Chicago which I found helpful. DePaul also has a very comprehensive internship program, that you can take advantage of. I would consider your major and location when picking your school as well as the feel of the school when you do you college visits.

Paul Anthony’s Answer

I can't answer about DePaul specifically, but I did have a friend in college to transferred from DePaul to the University of Michigan, and enjoyed his time at both places. When looking at any university, you need to think about what curriculum you want to take when you get there. Some schools have some very highly regarded programs within the college. You also want to think about location and networking opportunities. DePaul, being in Chicago, has an advantage here even though its not a larger university. Two of the main goals of college are 1) learning related to your career choice and 2) developing a professional network of people who can help you find and be successful in your career.
