What would marine biologists wear?
I need to know what kind of things marine biologists wear, preferably while working.
Any items they would possibly hold would also be good to know. #marine-biology #biologist

Hi Sophia,
In Florida and other tropical areas, lightweight clothing that is capable of getting wet is what I see for most activities. Gear can also include waders and rubber boots, for more hands-on jobs. Often times marine biologists will have rain gear as well, since weather can be unpredictable at sea. Eye protection whether it be glasses or some sort of goggles is often essential.

In my region, neoprene waders and rubber boots are pretty essential for field work. Rain gear is also important. For items, a waterproof notepad like a "Rite in the Rain" notebook would be very useful for data collection!
