Karen’s Answer
Knowing that I have an opportunity to impact the lives of others is the best part of being a teacher for me. Students may not always listen to what you say but they watch what you do. You may never know who or what impact you had but you will know that you made a difference.
Monica’s Answer
- Knowing that you have truly made a difference in a child’s life.
-Seeing a child’s light bulb come on with a difficult concept ( my personal favorite)
- A struggling student overcomes his or her challenge and starting to enjoy the learning process.
-Seeing a former student come back to thank you for being there for them in the time of need. And, now, they are successfully walking in their purpose.
-Teachers having the ability to be as creative as needed to teach the material and have fun with it.
- And, of course, teachers having summers and weekends off to enjoy life.
Hopefully this answers your questions about teacher benefits (best part).
