For pursuing a career as Prosthodontists, you need to take Math all the way up to college. Colleges look for calculas A,B or BC at high school level. In college, you might have to continue with Calc D, discrete math etc to be able to complete undergrad along with pre-med courses.

Math and Science are part and parcel of life. Let me explain

You should be able to count and transact money for buying and selling products(services) -- This requires basic math.

To cook your food for survival you need to know under what temp. your oven should be in to cook Meat/Veggie etc ..

Having basic knowledge of Math and science is paramount.
