Marjorie’s Answer

Hi Tahreem,

Hope you find someone to help you out in this quest but hopefully you will get a break soon. In the mean time, did you try broadening your horizon?

For example, radiology is such a broad subject, if you are still in school, experience is what you can gain from right now. So, how can you gain experience with radiology? Do some reading. Go to your library and find books on this subject. This is a good place to start. Whether you can gain hands on knowledge and experience now is irrelevant, so informing yourself about ALL THINGS radiology would count.

Marjorie recommends the following next steps:

First, pick a specialty. If bones fascinate you, start reading about human anatomy, animal anatomy, organs, etc.
Pick a species. Radiology encompasses ALL parts of all organisms big and small.
Think outside the box. Currently, there are many ways to develop images for observation. Do you like computers? Coming up with the next revolutionary way to obtain images would be a great accomplishment.
Have fun learning! Don’t be afraid to reach out for support.
