Tomoko’s Answer

I work in one of Global 100 companies. I use the company fitness centers a lot as I need to reduce stress, manage weight etc. I hired the trainer to achieve my goal. The job is helpful who is seeks for the advises and programs to achieve their physical and mental health. However, I would like to suggest one think. Please ask yourself what you want to do 5 years and 10 years after you become a Fitness and Wellness Coordinator. You may want to talk to people in the field and what career path can be available long term.

Krishna’s Answer

I am a Customer Support Engineer at one of the Fortune 100 Companies. I need to deliver high touch technical support to our demanding Customers, So I need to find different ways of stress management. I do use fitness and wellness coordinators to get their advice and not reinvent my workout plans. It has helped me a lot , Especially to meet my walking milestones and they do send reminders to meditate daily. They schedule meetings on weekly basis to discuss about my goals and track my progress.

So I do recommend using a wellness coordinator.

Hope that helps.

I work at a large fortune 500 global company and head up our employee well-being program. It is very fulfilling to see the impact our programs and resources have on the health of our employees and family members. We get many "success" stories on how people's lives have been improved. In addition our healthier workforce helps our company meet it's business goals.
