Oto’s Answer

Yes, why not. In this case you should listen to your heart. If rap music is something what will make you happy, you should go for it.

Scotty’s Answer

If being a rapper (assuming that's what you meant) is your dream, then absolutely give it a try. It's an old saying, but, follow your dreams! None of us in the music business as an artist or one behind the scenes (I do both) got into the business without having a thirst for the "dream". It's a lot of work so be prepared. Talk to anyone and everyone you can in the Rap world and learn every part of it inside and out, especially the business side of it so you can protect yourself along the way.

We are ALL capable of living our dreams. Just do it!

Hope that helps!

Damon’s Answer

The key to staying relevant in the music industry is to stay with and ahead of the current trend. Trapping is cool now but there's a change in the air in how music is going to sound. Take a look at artists like Timbaland, Chris Brown, or Wiz Khalifa...their music styles have changed alongside the sounds of the radio. When you ask "Should I be a Trap Rapper?" my answer is no... If you ask "Should I be a rapper?" then yes with music constantly changing there's always a new opportunity to make a living with music. You just have to be very involved in the business of your music.
