Hi Jazlyn,

It's "gymnast" or "gymnastics". There isn't a school "for" gymnastics, it's a sport, part of most colleges' athletic program. Like football, basketball, swimming, etc. If you'd like to do gymnastics while in college then you'll want to start taking lessons as soon as possible if you're not doing so already. You can talk to your coach about how to qualify for a college team. The closest you could get to getting training to do gymnast-like work is a school for dancing or performance arts.

Here's an article for good dance schools: www.collegemagazine.com/the-top-10-schools-for-dance-in-2019/

There is a website called "O*Net" that talks about different kinds of careers you can have, what education and prep you need to do to get there, etc. I typed in "gymnast" into their search engine and found a series of jobs that are related to gymnastics that you might be interested in. https://www.onetonline.org/find/quick?s=gymnast

Hi Jazlyn - I believe you are inquiring about colleges that may offer collegiate gymnastic programs?

Here's a list of top 2020 programs: https://usagym.org/pages/home/college/2020/rankings/preseason.html

If you have been doing gymnastics since you were younger, I'd also encourage you to research the schools that may offer scholarships.

Hope this helps!
