Bashir’s Answer

You do not need to take Chemistry and ICT to become an interior designer. However, when you take ICT on addition to design and Art classes , you have a better chance of getting employed. Honestly, Art and design would be sufficient enough but nowadays ICT is considered to be a great deal in such jobs. So you want to add some information technology to be a better side.

Kei’s Answer

I could be biased because I am a chemist, but I do see a value in taking chemistry. Knowing how to speak the language of chemistry also could help you with understanding the materials that would be used when you designing the house (i.e. paint, fabric). However, as it was mentioned earlier in the other answer, I believe that being comfortable with handling information digitally is more important in any industry that you would go into, not limited to interior designing. So if I were you, I would go with ICT over chemistry! Good luck in your future Ziad!
