How much debt should I expect if I want to be a veterinarian
I plan on going to community college for two years, and then transfer to a state university in Florida.

Hi Sera! I share your love for animals, have had 'four legged, furry family members' my whole life.
I recommend checking out a few resources on line. The US News and World Report have a pretty great website for information about all sort of jobs including Veterinarian. They indicate "There are just 30 colleges with accredited D.V.M. programs. These degrees usually take about four years to complete, with the last year reserved for clinical rotations."
If you want to stay in Florida for schooling (a great idea to keep tuition costs down, in-state resident tuition is almost always the most affordable route), according to the American Veterinary Medical Association, there is only 1 Florida school with the accredited program, the University of Florida. How much debt someone leaves school with can vary greatly from personal situation to personal situation so I can't really answer that for you, but I can help point you to information on current costs for the University of Florida (see suggested next steps!).
