Adri,

Like you, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for a career. I chose to study what had been my favorite subject in high school when I got to college. If you don’t have a favorite, you can take general education or study “undeclared” for a year or two. During that time, take a broad range of classes. You can do that at community college or many four-year colleges.

While at college, use the career center to take tests that help you focus your interests and to sign up for career classes. You will learn how to research a career. Talk to people in different careers.

My college career center helped me identify my career path. Interestingly, most students change their majors, so don’t worry. It’s about the journey at your age, not the final destination!
