If my strengths are teamwork and hardwork, what types of careers or industries might best fit me?

Hi Jake - as an auditor my job requires a significant amount of teamwork. Every audit involves a new team and the ability to adjust and work well with many different people is extremely important. I suggest looking into auditing if teamwork is one of your strengths.

Those are great strengths to have. As a professional in accounting, I can tell you that hard work and working well in a team are some of the top requirements. But this also applies to other professions where you would work with teams. Think about what your interests are.

Probing your own strengths and weaknesses will clarify what the best next step is and how you can improve yourself. It will also tell you more on where you would like to work and where you would be able to prove yourself most. Explore your strengths and weaknesses in depth. What are your talents and when are you at your best? The  test may help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your talents. A core personality test can can tell you more in-depth what your strengths and weaknesses are, so you can prepare for an assessment even better. In addition to understanding your strengths and weaknesses, it is a good idea to think about your work values and motivations. They are important when choosing a profession and for your performance in a position.

You've got some great strengths which will allow you to succeed in a variety of careers or industries. Suggest you think about your interests and begin to gain experience through volunteering if you haven't already. Then continue to expand your strengths in more areas such as communication, leadership or specific skills relating to your interests.
